On September 19 at 2:00pm, the Glen Rock Historic Preservation Society will hold a dedication ceremony, open to the public, for the mural which was painted to pay tribute to railroading and the train station which stood at the site of the mural from 1856 to 1961. The dedication will take place along the rail trail behind the Getty Mart located at 50 Main Street - Glen Rock, PA. The program will consist of pictures showing the train station, train station memorabilia and a brief history of the station. Special guest appearance by mural artist, Marshall Adams. Attendees are asked to bring chairs if they would like to sit for the program. In case of rain, the ceremony will be held in the Sesquicentennial Headquarters building (Geiple’s) at 55A Main Street opposite the Getty Mart.
